We have recently secured a number of large instructions, ranging from a rent review on a 28,000 sq ft land mark office building in Upper Street to a lease renewal on 12,000 sq ft of offices in St John Street.
We have also been instructed to provide expert evidence in court proceedings on a 20,000 sq ft office building in Victoria.
As the effects of the recession start to bite, more and more disputes are finding their way to arbitration or court as landlords become increasingly reluctant to reach agreement by negotiation.
Our Landlord and Tenant Department is now run by David Burlinson who has previously worked at E A Shaw and Donaldsons. This department has grown organically over the last 18-months and David will shortly be recruiting a surveyor to assist and broaden our existing case work.
