David K. Foskett, occupies the position of Equity Partner at Copping Joyce. His extensive knowledge and strategic focus are directed towards the sale and acquisition of investment and development sites and buildings across the nation, with a particular emphasis on the M25 area. As an LPA Receiver, he has built a notable reputation for effectively managing complex transactions and relationships with numerous banks. Before his current role at Copping Joyce, David's professional journey included six years in legal practice, which has significantly contributed to his depth of understanding in real estate. At Copping Joyce, David is instrumental in identifying unique opportunities for company growth, applying his broad expertise to advance the firm's objectives. Outside of his professional endeavours, David is dedicated to his family life, managing the dynamics of a household with young twins.

Darya has been with Copping Joyce since 2015 and stepped into her role as Equity Partner in 2019. Darya's work is driven by a passion for impact investment in social housing, where she collaborates with funds on investment structuring to ensure both social benefit and financial performance. Holding an MSc in International Real Estate and Planning from UCL and a BA (Hons) in Business Management (Finance), Darya has a strong academic and practical framework that informs her strategic approach. Her background is further complemented by prior experience in the health and social care sectors, providing a broad perspective on community and developmental projects. A devoted dog lover, Darya is passionate about her pets and seizes every opportunity to include them in her daily life, often bringing them to the office and work events.

Thanos is a Chartered Surveyor and Registered Valuer at Copping Joyce, heading the healthcare department. His specialty encompasses valuations of hospitals, pharmacies, dental practices, and care homes on going concern basis, as well as handling development projects within the healthcare sector. He collaborates closely with investors, lenders, and operators to provide healthcare advisory services that reflect the current market and industry trends. With a solid foundation in construction and his experience as a real estate broker, Thanos brings a pragmatic approach to his department. He also holds a Master’s degree in Regional and Urban Planning Studies from the LSE. Beyond his professional life, Thanos is an avid runner and basketball player. He is also a dedicated foodie, boasting an impressive knowledge of the latest London restaurants.

Anthony joined Copping Joyce's Commercial Agency department in January 2020, after acquiring a bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of London and spending five years as an acquisitions surveyor at Avison Young. His primary focus is on the disposals of receivership properties and investment assets in city and city fringe areas, alongside managing public sector disposals. He adeptly advises public sector clients on asset disposal strategies, combining practical execution with strategic insight. Anthony's expertise in navigating complex transactions and offering client-tailored solutions enhances the value he brings to the Commercial Agency department. His work reflects a commitment to excellence and client satisfaction, making him a key contributor to the team's success.

Ekaterina plays a pivotal role in the Affordable Housing team at Copping Joyce, focusing on affordable housing development valuations and offering debt and equity advisory services. Since joining the Affordable Housing department, she has quickly become indispensable, catering to a wide range of clients including the majority of G15 Registered Providers, for-profit housing associations, and their investors. With a Master’s degree in International Real Estate and Planning from UCL and a bachelor's degree in Management from LSE, her academic credentials form the foundation of her expertise in the field. In addition, Ekaterina oversees quality control within the department. This responsibility ensures that all services and outputs meet the highest standards of accuracy and professionalism, further enhancing the our reputation and efficacy.

Angeliki is a Chartered Surveyor with strong foundation in Finance and Engineering (MSc). She has over a decade of experience in the London real estate market and specialises in valuing prime Central London residential properties and performing loan security valuations. Throughout her career, Angeliki has gained her skills across diverse property types, including office spaces, retail outlets, and garden centres, which has enriched her understanding and analysis of complex investment valuations. In addition to her work in London, Angeliki brings 7 years of experience from the Greek real estate market, catering to High-Net-Worth individuals and institutional clients in both residential and commercial sectors. Her diverse and well-rounded expertise positions her as a versatile and effective professional in the industry. Angeliki in her personal time enjoys reading biographies & historical literature, however her favourite hobby is solving puzzles and doing art & crafts with her daughter.

Tom leads Copping Joyce's valuation services across the North and Midlands. With extensive experience at national firms, he specialises in the valuation of commercial, residential, mixed-use, and development assets, advising a sophisticated client base including banks, pension funds, housing associations, and high-net-worth individuals. He takes a straightforward, practical approach and focuses on delivering clear advice clients can act on. Tom enjoys working closely with clients, regularly meeting and building relationships to understand and deliver on their objectives. Outside of work, Tom is a very keen Everton fan. He enjoys spending time with his family at home in Liverpool and getting over to North Wales as often as possible to unwind.

Head of Asset Management

As Head of Asset Management at Copping Joyce, Navin is a Chartered Surveyor with extensive experience across the property industry, specialising in valuations, distressed assets and non-performing loan portfolios. Bringing significant lender-side experience, Navin offers a strong understanding of the challenges faced by financial institutions, together with a commercially focused and pragmatic approach to asset strategy and recovery. Since joining the firm in January, Navin has established the Asset Management function, with a particular focus on LPA receivership appointments. Working closely with lenders, stakeholders and professional advisors, Navin is focused on delivering structured, solutions-led outcomes across complex asset situations, supporting clients in protecting and maximising value.

Elina Kaoula

Associate Director (Valuations)

Elina Kaoula is an MRICS Registered Valuer with an MSc in Real Estate. She has over 12 years of experience in the London real estate market, specialising in RICS Red Book valuations across residential and commercial property, alongside specialist expertise in Leasehold Enfranchisement and Lease Advisory. She has delivered valuation advice for a wide range of purposes including loan security, asset and portfolio management, probate and taxation, matrimonial, Charities Act, and court-compliant instructions. Elina has acted for major Landed Estates including Grosvenor, Cadogan, and Portman, providing valuation and negotiation support on both statutory and voluntary claims under relevant leasehold reform legislation. Her experience includes expert witness appointments and Tribunal preparation and attendance, combining strong analytical capability with clear, client-focused communication. Outside work, Elina enjoys spending time with friends and particularly values outdoor activities with her daughter.

Ben joined Copping Joyce after relocating from New Zealand. A Registered Valuer since 2023, Ben holds a Bachelor of Land and Property Management from Lincoln University. Specialising in commercial valuations across industrial, office, retail, and mixed-use properties, Ben has advised on assets ranging from NZD $250,000 to $30,000,000, including multi-tenanted and institutionally owned assets. His experience spans loan security, financial reporting, compulsory acquisition, rent reviews, and lease renewals. Previously with CBRE in Wellington, Ben brings a proven track record and a strong analytical approach, making him a valuable addition to the Copping Joyce team. Outside of work, Ben enjoys rugby and spending time with friends.

Ivan Brodrick

Ivan is a Chartered Surveyor and member of the Valuer Registration Scheme (VRS) with a family background in residential real estate. He graduated from the University of Reading in 2016, gaining a bachelor's degree in Investment and Finance in Property. Since then he has worked as a financial modelling analyst for 31Ten Consulting, before undertaking his APC in JLL's Affordable Housing Investment Valuations team, where he played an integral role for four years. His responsibilities included undertaking audited quarterly financial reporting valuations for large social housing funds, such as Civitas' Social Housing REIT and Triple Point's SOHO REIT. He also undertook valuations for acquisition, loan security, forward-funded commitments and reinstatement cost assessments.

Vicky joined Copping Joyce's Affordable Housing department in July 2022, after gaining valuable experience as an acquisition associate with a boutique developer and completing her Master's degree in Real Estate at Henley Business School. She also holds an MSc in Urban Design and Property Development from the University of Liverpool, supplemented by three years of experience in architectural design. Now a surveyor in the Affordable Housing Team, Vicky is recognised as a key expert in development valuations, serving some of the top Registered Providers (RPs) nationwide. Her unique blend of skills in real estate, urban design, and architecture positions her to make significant contributions to the team and Copping Joyce's clients.

Mical is a surveyor in Copping Joyce's Trading department, specialising in valuations of healthcare facilities, hospitality establishments, care homes, pharmacies, and dental practices on a going concern basis. Prior to joining Copping Joyce, she gained extensive experience at Christie & Co and Fleurets, where she focused on healthcare valuations and lease advisory services. She holds a master's degree in Real Estate Management and Investment, earned in 2021, and has also worked in the public sector as an Estate Manager for Richmond and Wandsworth Council. Mical's diverse background in both public and commercial real estate, combined with her expertise in rent reviews and lease renewals, makes her a valuable asset to Copping Joyce and its clients.

As a surveyor at Copping Joyce, John has quickly become recognised for his expertise in development valuations. His work plays a crucial role in advising and representing the firm's clients in complex negotiations and legal matters, leveraging his educational foundation and growing experience in the field.

Dougal is a Chartered Surveyor within Copping Joyce's Trading department. With over five years of valuation experience, he specialises in the valuation of healthcare facilities, hospitality businesses, pharmacies, and dental practices on a going concern basis. Prior to joining Copping Joyce, Dougal relocated from Australia, where he completed a Bachelor of Business Management and a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Queensland. He previously worked at Acumentis, undertaking valuations of industrial, office, retail, and medical properties for major financial institutions, government authorities, and a broad range of private and corporate clients. Dougal's experience across a diverse range of asset classes enables him to apply a detailed and analytical approach to every instruction. Outside of work, he follows rugby and cricket while also doing plenty of travel.

Sébastien joined the Affordable Housing Department at Copping Joyce after earning a Master's degree in Spatial Planning and Development with distinctions from Cardiff University and moving to London. He specializes in complex development valuations, covering both mixed-use and fully affordable schemes, as well as valuations of s106 agreements for transactional purposes. Sébastien's expertise significantly enhances the team's capability in navigating the intricacies of affordable housing projects.

Julian joined Copping Joyce in November 2024 as a Surveyor, having earned a Bachelor's degree in Real Estate from the University of Reading after relocating to the UK in 2020. As a key member of the Trading Department, Julian supports property valuations across a range of asset types, applying his focused academic background and growing expertise. He is currently working towards his Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) to achieve Chartered Surveyor status and membership with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). Julian's commitment to professional development and keen attention to detail make him an integral part of the team.

Aman joined Copping Joyce in May 2024 as part of a Real Estate Management degree apprenticeship. In a short time, he has gained valuable experience across the Valuations, Social Housing, and Commercial Agency departments, providing him with a well-rounded introduction to the firm and the property industry. With a strong construction background developed through his involvement in a family-run business, Aman progressed from hands-on tasks to project management, sparking his ambition to pursue a professional career in real estate. He is now focused on achieving Chartered Surveyor status and becoming a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). Aman's practical experience, combined with his drive for professional growth, makes him a valued member of the Copping Joyce team. Outside of work, Aman is a passionate Arsenal supporter, enjoys mixed martial arts, and takes time for long walks with his dog.

Matt joined Copping Joyce in January 2025 following the completion of his bachelor's degree in politics at the University of Hull. Currently, he is furthering his academic pursuits by studying MSc Real Estate at the University of Sheffield, where he is deepening his expertise in property markets and investment strategies. He will soon pursue becoming a Chartered Surveyor through the Royal Institute of Charted Surveyors. In his professional capacity, Matt is an integral part of the valuation team, where he is honing his skills in both commercial and residential property valuation. His work is allowing him to develop a robust professional understanding of market dynamics, ensuring that properties are accurately and effectively assessed in alignment with RICS and industry standards. Outside of his work and studies, Matt enjoys playing golf and following Chelsea Football Club.

Desmond joined the Valuations Department at Copping Joyce in July 2025 as a Graduate Surveyor, following completion of an MPhil in Development Studies (Distinction) at the University of Cambridge. He previously obtained a First-Class Honours degree in Land Economy from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ghana. Desmond supports the team in delivering valuation advice across a broad range of commercial and residential property assets and is currently working towards chartered status with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). Prior to joining Copping Joyce, he gained experience in property valuation and land administration in Ghana, contributing to large-scale valuation assignments and land registration processes. He brings a diligent, analytical approach to his work and is committed to broadening his knowledge across different asset types. Outside of work, Desmond enjoys playing football and volleyball, and is a staunch supporter of Liverpool F.C.

Louis joined Copping Joyce in September 2025 as a Graduate Surveyor in the Social Housing team, following completion of the RICS-accredited Master of Planning (MPlan) degree at the University of Sheffield. Since joining the firm, he has gained experience supporting valuation work across several departments, developing a broad understanding of the firm's practice and the wider property market. Louis specialises in residential property and development valuations within the social housing sector. He works closely with local authorities across the London Boroughs as well as housing associations nationwide, assisting with a range of valuation and residential asset matters. As he works towards RICS chartership, Louis continues to build his technical expertise while contributing to the collaborative environment at Copping Joyce. Outside of work, Louis enjoys music, football, and exploring new places.

Gabriel joined Copping Joyce as an Apprentice Surveyor, bringing a strong interest in the financial and economic drivers behind businesses and applying that mindset to real estate. In a short time, he has gained valuable experience across Social Housing and Trading, giving him a well-rounded introduction to the firm and the wider property industry. After graduating from Kensington Aldridge Academy, Gabriel is now pursuing a BSc (Hons) in Real Estate Management through his degree apprenticeship and is working towards achieving Chartered Surveyor status and membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). At Copping Joyce, Gabriel supports the team across a range of property valuations, building practical experience while remaining focused on developing his technical knowledge and professional capabilities to further fulfil his role. Outside of work, Gabriel is passionate about acting, theatre, and the arts, and has achieved Grade 8 LAMDA.
